Responsibilities:

* Staying in tune with intraday currency market news and exchange rate movements.
* Ability to recognize significant technical formations on price charts.
* Write daily research reports on price movements and forecasts on potential movement based on economic data and technicals.
* Work directly with Chief Currency Strategist to develop trading strategies and execute trades.
* Maintain daily trading journals.
* Duties may also include interaction with our online community properties (answering basic forex questions, writing short forex articles, etc).
* Weekly research and writing projects to enhance features of BabyPips.com and our family of sites.

Requirements:

* Bachelors in Economics, Finance, or Business
* Proficient in communicating and expressing ideas in English
* Strong interest in international financial markets, macroeconomics, and trading
* MUST be willing to work within open Forex market trading hours. (shifts within 7am -11pm Manila time, Mon - Fri)
* Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and graphic editing software)
* Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, and collaboration.
* Must be coachable.

Desired (but not required):

* 1+ years of experience in currency trading
* Math and Statistic skills
* Knowledge of at least one of the following markets – Equities, Fixed Income, Money Markets, Commodities, Precious Metals, or FX
* Fluent in Chinese, German, Japanese, Korean, Farsi, Arabic, Navajo, Hindi, French, Spanish, Quenya, Pig Latin, Ebonics, Na’vi, Portuguese a plus.

There is an initial 3 month trial and training period. Part of the training will include intensive live face-to-face training. You will receive personal instruction. Details will be discussed on interview.

Compensation of Php 25,000/month. After trial period, if retained, salary will be raised to Php 50,000/month with opportunities to earn performance-based bonuses. MEDICard health insurance also provided.

Ideal candidate will have 3–5 years experience in cost accounting and financial planning & forecasting.
Experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required. SAP, MS Access and Semiconductor industry experience a strong plus.
